July 29: Redwoods and on to the Lost Coast

Mike's travel technology hit a snag. The digital camera battery gave out and we were forced to rely on Susan's disposable camera. Susan will be posting some scanned photos from her camera very soon. Here are a few to give you an idea on what we saw...

Welcome back to home base! At least that's where the itinerary says you are. I have been travelling, too, over the weekend - Karen came and we went to Chittenango for the Rathbun (or burn) reunion. Then, after a night in a Syracuse motel which showed up twice on the 11pm news - robberies at the bank AND the Mobil station next to our resting place (I sure know how to pick 'em!) we went on to Harborfest in Oswego to see Danny jump with the Army Golden Knights. We got the first class treatment for friends and families - VIP treatment - seats close enough to I could photograph them landing on the X. Today Karen goes back and we get more dog days of 90+ weather. Is it time for a visit to the ball park with Sophie? Thanks for blogging your way through two states.
