Here we have an abandoned water bottling plant. Inside was a place frozen in time. Equipment was dated from 1909 and bottles were still in the machines! Yes, we took some souvenirs. No, we won't be selling them on eBay!

Las Vegas Baby!

It's Susan's Birthday. Who's counting the years? That birthday cake was made by the Four Seasons Hotel - marzipan encrusted, dark chocolate engraved flowers, bavarian cream and fresh berries - yum! Turns out the hotel also sent up a complimentary chocolate mousse cake earlier in the day.

Our in-room breakfast. If we stayed here another day we'd gain 10 pounds!

Hawaii! Finally!

Susan standing in front of our first place, Prince Kuhio, in Koloa, Hawaii. Mike "won" the place on eBay for less than $50 per night!

Our first visitor at Prince Kuhio!

The "Swamp Trail"

The view in the background is our reward for our hike, Hanalei Bay on the North Shore. To get here, we had to hike a few mile along the "Swamp Trail", an old trail the natives used to take to get from the Waimea Canyon to the North Shore.

Boat Ride! Whales, dolphins, turtles, and...

Yes! Finally Mike got a tail shot!
Spinner dolphins accompanied us for half the trip putting on quite a show.
Our captain, Ellis Brooks. Yes, the same Ellis of "Ellis Brooks Chevrolet".

When the bigger waves hit, riding on the tip of the bow was one hell of a ride!
This photo opportunity lasted throughout the duration of our 5 hour trip. Susan was the first of 5 passengers who succumbed to sea sickness. Susan did get to hear all of the whale induced "ooohs" and ahhhs" though.

Posted by PicasaArriving back in the calm waters of the port, Susan made a great recovery! She actually got an ovation from some of the passengers!

Look Ma! No Doors!

Our helicopter. We chose this tour company because their helicopters have no windows or doors.
After the first 20 minutes...after the fear of a seatbelt failure subsides...you can really begin to enjoy the view.

The wettest place on earth - really!
